Anyone can sit for the exam. There is no qualification requirement to sit for the exam. You just need to have some basic knowledge of accounting.

After passing both the papers, you will need to submit 2 years work experience and Bachelor's or equivalent degree to IMA within 7 years of passing both the papers to get the certificate.
